In accordance with the view of Shia scholars (majority of them), the night of decree (Laylatul-Qadr لیله القدر) probably is one of the following days of Ramadan :
Imam Aboo Ja’far Muhammad ebn Ali-al-Baqir (a.s.) is quoted in Bihar al-Anwar and Da’aim al-Islam as mentioned:
"The 17th night of the month of Ramadhan is when the 2 parties ...
Since hazrat Fatima is very eminent and just few achieve that understanding,Imam Sadiq (A.S.) interpreting this verse to hazrat Fatima and said: "Who knows Fatima the way it should, then could understand Laylatul Qadr.
Fatima is Laylatul Qadr of ahlul bayt and surat al-Qadr represent magnitude of her and is interpreted to hazrat Fatima through this reasons:
Laylatul Qadr occurs in the last ten nights of Ramadan during an odd night (i.e. 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th or 29th) because of the what we know from ahadeeth (which have been mention in other answers). However the scholars differ as to if it is fixed to one of these odd nights every year or if it changes every year to a different odd-numbered night.
The Night of Qadar is not fixed as obvious from the following Hadith:
So after that day 'Abdullah (bin 'Umar) started offering Tahajjud. The
companions of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) used to tell him their dreams that
(Laila-tul-Qadr) was on the 27th of the month of Ramadan. The Prophet
said, "I see that your dreams agree on the last ten nights of Ramadan
Laylatul Qadr is translated into the night of destiny, another translation is The Night of Power, there are many translations there is The Night of Decree, The Night of Value and so on. Laylatul Qadr is the night in which the Qur'an was revealed:
إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَـٰهُ فِى لَيۡلَةِ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ (١)
We have indeed revealed this (Message) in the night of ...
Even if she doesn't stay up during the Qadr nights and doesn't worship at all, still she can hope to gain the mercy of Allah, let alone with all that worship:
قَالَ وَمَن يَقْنَطُ مِن رَّحْمَةِ رَبِّهِ إِلَّا الضَّالُّونَ
He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those
Also note that menstruation is ...
There are various views regarding لیلة القدر. Some believe it is more than one night but I think the belief that it is one night is more prominent. There is no indication in Quran that there are more than one nights. There are several hadith that say or imply that there is one in each year and it is also implied from verses in sura al-Qadr in Quran that it ...
When Aisha (رضي الله عنها) asked the prophet (عليه الصلاة والسلام) about what Dua to make in laylatul qadr, he told her: when you got Odd nights off last ashra of Ramadan you can pray these words on Odd nights. No limitation is applied for this because it is not any kind of "Wazifa" so you can pray as much as possible. You can pray 100 times or more as ...
This does not seem logically possible.
There are regions of the world which have a wet season and monsoons (and tropical monsoons), during which it can rain near continuously for months on end.
Have you ever watched the movie Forrest Gump?
Forrest Gump: One day it started raining, and it didn't quit for four months. We been through every kind of rain ...
We don't actually know which night it is, 27 is just a popular view and not backed by any reliable Hadith. There's one from Muawiya b. Abi Sufyan that mentions the Prophet stated the 27th, however, it's inauthentic. And it's possible the Qadr can be in other nights.
The Prophet said to seek Layl al-Qadr on the odd nights of the last 10 nights. And this is ...
My answer would be Allah knows best.
Allah has a reason to keep the details of the Night of Qadar a secret. This is so that we fill the last 10 odd nights with lots of ibadah.
This simply reminds me of surah Kahf [18:22], in which Allah says people dispute about the number of sleepers in the cave, BUT STILL Allah does not reveal the exact number. This is ...
As you can see below the verse 44:4 (in bold) refers to the Laylat al-Qadr:
By the clear Book,
إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةٍ مُّبَارَكَةٍ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنذِرِينَ
Indeed, We sent it down during a blessed night. Indeed, We were to warn [mankind].
فِيهَا يُفْرَقُ كُلُّ أَمْرٍ حَكِيمٍ
On that night ...
According to Holy Prophet (PBUH) : Try to find "Laiiltulqadar" in odd nights of last ashra of Ramadan. But it is not necessary that 27th of Ramadan is "Laiiltulqadar" it may be 21st 23rd 25th 27th or 29th. On 27th of Ramadan Nazool e Quran was completed so importance of this night is more so Reward on praying this night is equal to 80 years of "ibadah"
Lailatul Qadr (Arabic: لیلة القدر) also known as Shab-e-Qadr,is the Night of Destiny, Night of Power, Night of Value, the Night of Decree or Night of Measures,
It is the anniversary of the night Muslims believe the first verses of the Quran were revealed to the Islamic prophet Muhammad.
Allah says in the Holy Quran:
We have indeed revealed this (...
Laylatul Qadr has many opinions on when it is like the night of the 27th of Ramadan which has a Hadith from Abu Dawud and it is from this Hadith that most scholars probably orient towards the 27th:
Narrated Mu'awiyah b. Abi Sufyan : The Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wa
sallam) as saying: Lailat al-qadr is the twenty-seventh night (of
We know from many ahadith that laylatul al qadr happends during ramdan:
Sahih Bukhari : Volume 3, Book 32 "Taraweeh", Number 238
Narrated ‘Ibn Abbas (Radi Allah Anha): The Allah’s Messenger (sal-allahu- alleihi-wasallam ) said:
“Look for the Night of Qadr in the last ten nights of Ramazan on the night when nine or seven or five nights remain out of ...
Allah (subhanuhu wa ta’ala—may He be Glorified and Exalted) says in surat al-Baqara, ayah 222,
“They ask you concerning menstruation. Say that it is an adha (a harmful thing), therefore
keep away from [your wives] during menses and do not have sexual intercourse with them
until they have become pure [from menstrual blood], and when they have purified
According to Shi'a Islam, the Prophet (SAWW) did not specify the exact date of Laylatul-Qadr (night of decree), but there is a narration from the Prophet (s) which could be related with your question, so it has narrated that:
A person told Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) my house is far from Medina,,
tell me the Laylatul-Qadr, the Prophet (SAWW) responded: come ...
The hadith you are referring to is:
'A’isha (RAA) narrated, ‘I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ‘O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), if I know what night the night of Qadr is, what should I say during it?’ He said, “Say:
O Allah, You are the Pardoner and You love to pardon, so pardon me."

I think there is quite some logic in the fact that the exact night isn't revealed. Laylatul Qadr also known as the 'night of power' is said to be better than a 1000 months.
With its exact date not being known to us, we concentrate our efforts into the last 10 days in which we reap the benefits of the blessed month of Ramadan which in itself is a month like ...
Laylatul Qadr In Quran
Verily! We have sent it (this Quran) down in the night of Al-Qadr , And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is? The night of Al-Qadr is better than a thousand months. Therein descend the angels and the Ruh by Allahs Permission with all Decrees, Peace! (All that night, there is Peace and Goodness from Allah to ...
Basically the most narrations on the topic of laylatul Qar that seem to give hints on which night this special night may correspond say it is among the last ten nights of Ramadan or even restrict it on the odd nights among these last ten nights. Note that a sahih narration of ibn 'Abbas (see here in Sahih al-Bukhari) even seem to disagree with the odd nights ...
When is Laylatul Qadr?
Narrated by Aishah (رضي الله عنها) Mohammed (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) says,
Search for the Night of Qadr in the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadaan.
So it could be:
There is not fixed that laylatul qadr in 27 ramadan.
