Why is taking note onnotes in Friday Jummah is-prayer sermon disallowed  / prohibited prohibited/ haramharam in Islam?

BismAllah.

I have heard numerous times that taking note on Friday Jummah sermon is discouraged. I do not really understand the reason why and feel pretty frustrated.? People who claim its not allowed because it will be a type of innovation.

My view: What in the world did I just innovatedinnovate? I hadhave attended Jummah throughout the years. Honestly, I know many of you do as well, I have even dosed off during the listening to the jummah, AstafruAllah..Jummah because of which I didn't know what was said. However, for couple of times, I took notes when I am listening to the Jummah, sermon and I found myself more concentrated withthat it boosted my concentration towards the Jummah sermon and, for the first couple of times, I actually REMEMBERS what I listened afterward (Hey, you know it also happens to you :) )...most important, ALMOST NEVER dosed off (I remember I did dosed off even try to take note maybe once because I can not really hear the speaker and tried too hard to just even listenremembered what the Imam is saying..was said in sermon.)

So I wonder, is taking note really a type of innovation/Bidah? Please state clear

Clear reference from Quran &and Sunnah, jazaklahir! would be appreciated.
