Salam, please never act upon these thoughts. They are from shayatiin and/or jinn and wiswas. “There is no sin for you in that which ye proclaim or hide in your minds.” (Q, 2:235) Just because you get these thoughts, it doesn’t hold you against the sin. Try to brush them or ignore them. I deal with these too and it’s hard. It’ll be easy if you keep your deen ...

No, it is not shirk if you say thanks both to Allah from Whom all comes and the particular person who helped you. Allah always helps through someone or something. That means that we can bless Allah and say thanks to the person who did His Will. His servant.

Thanking others for what Allah has given you is shirk.

Shirk is associating people or things with Allah, Allah is one and not related to anything or anyone. Also in what situation are you thanking other people alongside thanking Allah? Are you making a dua just to thank others? If you want to thank others you should tell them. Please clarify your question.

Learning is a progression. The more you learn, the more knowledgeable you become, the more you tend to be aware of your mistakes and aberrations, and most importantly, the more you are likely to ward off such mistakes.

The realization that it maybe kufr is probably another waswas of the shaytan and this is not kufr nor is it a sin if you had no intention to disrespect anything.

That is the influence of what we are surrounded with. Keeping oneself with the right people and the right environment is likely to help in avoiding such things. However, unintentional speech is not kufr. There is a hadith in which there is the mention of a person alone in a desert who happens to have lost sight of his camel resulting in utter dejection and ...

She will have to sincerely repent, and say the Shahadah before repenting. You can research the conditions of sincere repentance. She still need to repent to Allah, regretting that sin, promise to Allah to not do it again and leave the act. However, she needs to recite the Shahadah first.

Tearing a paper on which the Quran is written seems disrespectful, and I personally have not ever heard of that being done. However the rest of the practice seems close to a known type of ruqya. النشرة is a procedure in which Allah's names or Quranic verses are written on something, that is then washed and the used water is then wiped over a patient or is ...

It is not shirk when it is understood that lord means owner. Examples of this are present in the Quran and Hadith where the prophets use the term, and obviously they can not commit shirk. From the Quran in the story of Prophet Joseph عليه السلام: فيسقي ربه خمرا he will give drink to his master of wine — Quran 12:41 اذكرني عند ربك فأنساه الشيطان ذكر ربه &...

Of course it isn't shirk because the meaning and usage are clear. In Arabic you call a father or the person in charge: رب البيت Rab al-Bayt (literally house lord or lord of the house). And the qur'an and sunnah include lots of similar examples.

It is shirk to say this sentence while meaning that it is true. The author of this sentence commits/commited shirk. It may be allowable to say this as a citation if it is really necessary. I wonder why you should hold a speech without having any influence on what you say. Why don't you just alter the text and say that nature is the gift of God?

"Surely, Allah forgives all sins. He is the Opt-forgiving, the Most Merciful." Yes, if you repent before death, it will be forgiven. Make sure to repent and make a vow to never commit that particular sin again but as soon as you die, it's too late, NOTHING will be accepted no matter what (Just like how Phir'awn was drowned by Allah {SWT} by a tidal ...
