Masturbation is called استمناء in fiqh. There are no Quranic verses or authentic hadith that directly mention it.
The view of the Shafi and Maliki schools of thought is that masturbation is unconditionally forbidden no matter what the circumstances:
The evidence presented by them is
Quran 23:5-7 And they who guard their private parts. Except from
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
“O young men, whoever among you can afford to, let him get married, for it is more effective in lowering the gaze and in guarding one’s chastity. Whoever cannot afford it, then let him fast, for it will be a shield for him.”
This is addressed to young men, but it also includes young women.
Another version which says ...
The noble Sahabah had too much Taqwa (fear of God) to be lying against Allah's (ﷻ) religion.
But the same cannot be said for random unknown Wikipedia writers. For example, they say the statement of ibn Abbas doesn't forbid it but in that statement Ibn Abbas is only saying that masturbation compared to fornication is "better" i.e, the lesser of two evils. ...
First your are welcome to islam.
Yes ALLAH forgive you because He says:
واستغفر الله إن الله كان غفورا رحيما
And ask forgiveness of Allah; surely Allah has been Ever-Forgiving, Ever-Merciful.(Al-nisa)
And the Prophet (PBUH) says:
وَيَتُوبُ اللَّهُ عَلَى مَنْ تَابَ
And Allah forgives him who repents to Him.(Narrated by Muslim in the book of ...
The very nature of a Tazeer punishment is that the punishment is not fixed and its upto the Qadi (judge) to impose something that will be sufficient as a deterrent while suiting the gravity of the crime.
If the Qadi sentences the person to flogging, they can be no more than 10 lashes, according to this Hadith:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "No Punishment ...
First of all you should know that some scholars consider semen (many) as (ritually) clean (tahir) so washing it and wasting water for this propose doesn't make sense at all (see for example islamqa #170012).
Secondly assuming semen is considered as najis (not ritually clean) G. Bach already quoted this hadith
A Bedouin urinated in the mosque. Some of the ...
This does not mean anything like this that your ramazan is accepted or not, no one knows but Allah.
You must keep praying as you did in ramazan and ask allah for forgiveness and acceptance of ramazan prayers.
There is a hadees:
كل بنى آدم خطاء ، وخير الخطائين التوابون
Every son of adam makes mistakes, and best of them are repenters(who do taubah).
All praise to Allah Swt and blessings on Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him His family and companions.
Ali r.a narrated: "I asked the Prophet peace be upon him about Al-Madhi. He said: "For Al-Madhi is Wudu, and for AI-Mani is Ghusl."(Tirmidhi on Book of Purification).,,and madhi is uretheral fluid and mani is Semen.
If you have not observed Semen,,In ...
First of all, I would like to say that this question is very relevant as it pertains to a lot of muslim youth in this modern world.
I'm planing on pursuing studies that will probably last until I'm in my 30's and I can't get married until I have a stable life.
So I'm in the same situation brother. I'm 22, and thinking that I cannot have any ...
It's considered a form of "masturbation" in the English language (dictionary.com), but this is irrelevant to its permissibility.
Spousal (mutual) masturbation is considered permissible by scholars (even strict ones).
It is permissible for the couple to stimulate each other's private parts as a form of enhancing sexual gratification.
AskImam (also ...
Masturbation is neither halal, nor haram, it is mashbooh (doubtful). The Quran says (interpretation of the meaning):
And they who guard their private parts
Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for
indeed, they will not be blamed -
But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors
According to Ibn-Taymiiah it's haram by most of scholars, and it's the most authentic sayings of Imam ahmad , and the other saying that it is Makruh. Most of them say it is haram whether he is struggling or not, and some of them said it is fine if he feared "Zina" , and he couldn't avoid Zina unless he masturbates, or to be afraid that he will be ill. Then ...
These Qur'an ayat are interpreted as forbidding masturbation:
And they who guard their private parts Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed - But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors - ... -- Qur'an 23:5-7
See e.g. fatawa: Islam Q&A; IslamWeb; AskImam.org. As such, the ...
I can tell you this is not permissible as it is the necessarily the same thing as masturbating.
This is confirmed by the verses:
"And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal
sexual acts). Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves)
that their right hands possess, - for them, they are free from blame.
But whoever ...
In simple, masturbation of all kinds will have same ruling.
And anal sex is forbidden with priority anyway. So, there is nothing complicated to clear about.
Anal sex is haram, and same ruling of masturbation on all of its kinds.
Yes, but it is different form of zina than intercourse. It is zina of a lesser degree which does not trigger any hadd punishment. That does not mean it is not a sin. It is certainly a sinful act but of a lesser degree then unlawful intercourse. The following hadith is about this type of zina:
It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and ...
Any good deed a Muslim is doing he should be doing it hoping Allah may accept it, and if Allah accepted it then this deed would have been done in a correct or perfect manner.
One necessary condition is that one is righteous and fear Allah as he said:
..."Indeed, Allah only accepts from the righteous [who fear Him]. 5:27
And we are asked to
"I came to 'Ali with two other men and he said: 'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to come out of the toilet and recite Qur'an, and he would eat meat with us and nothing would prevent him from (reciting) Qur'an except Janabah." (Sunan an-Nasa'i, with some diffrences Sunan abi Dawod, with a slight difference sunan ibn Majah, appears also in ...
Allah made HARAM a few things in the Quran, for example to eat blood, the dead and the pork. Islam is appeals to the Muslim good will, there is no point in asking for example when the pork was forbidden and someone will ask, is the donkey haram? is the chicken haram? is the animal that looks like pork haram? and so on. To me it seems like the asker wants to ...
Ghusl (bath) is required after ejaculation to attain the ritual purity required for Salah (prayers). There is no excuse for avoiding it except the shortage of water or an illness which would be worsened by use of water ... in which case Tayammum (dry ablution) is permitted.
Quran 4:43 O you who have believed, do not approach prayer
while ... in a state ...
Ask Allah to help you. ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ
Increase your bond with Islam. Try to go more to the mosque. Read more of Quran and reflect. Don't just skim through it, get yourself a good teacher and try to understand it. Have you read the story of Yusuf? His story is somewhat related. But more generally Quran is a book that shows how each prophet was ...
Yes, this is very haram! You are still stimulating yourself outside of marriage, and the only sexual actions you may commit are with your wife, and even that is strictly vaginal. This helps to calm and limit sexual desire and drive outside of that bond, and the like. You must try your best to stop it now! It's so, so bad for you. It's quite sinful.
As Salaam Alaykum....
Several times in the Quran, the story of the prophet Adam (as) is mentioned. Do you remember?
It's where our enemy promises to distract us from the path of ALLAH(swt). Between the seven times the story comes up, it is clear that the plan of shaytan is to stand in the way of our uprightness in any way he can.
As a young man in the ...
Well, if it was unintentional, and doing the exercise again won't repeat the same problem, then, yes, it should be permissible. I'd stay away though. I believe there was a hadith of staying away from that which you doubt to remain in favour of that which does not give you doubt.
as far as I know 23:5 and 23:6 are the verses that scholars depend on as (daleel - دليل - evidence ) that masturbation is not allowed

As long as you didn't ejaculate, your fasting is correct, but you have committed sin. However, if you did ejaculate while fasting, your fasting will be spoilt, then you have to make kadaa' and fast the same number of days you spoilt by ejaculation or masturbation.
Regardless of whether or not masturbation is considered a sin, it does not invalidate a fast unless one performs it within the time of the fast, i.e. between dawn and maghrib(sunset). Since the fast is not invalidated there is no Kaffarah or Fidyah.
A fast is invalidated by the following actions if done intentionally and during the time of the fast:
