IF one arrived late and the Salat has been started, it is recommended for him to join it, rather than praying alone. How does he follow it?
I'll explain in general, then give the detailed prayers.
First, the reference of each Raka(ركعة) is Rokou3 (ركوع), which means that if you reached after Rokou3, then the missed Raka must be repeated.
Second, you must ...
it's a bit hard to translate from the textbook but i will try my best. Like you said there is a disagreement between scientists about the minimum number , actually there is 15 different opinions all mentioned by El Hafyz in his book "El Fath" , the preponderant opinion is that the friday prayer " salaat el jumuah" is correct to be conducted for 2 or more , ...
There is no restriction to praying on any medium, as long as it is "Tahir" (طاهر). There were no carpets in mosques for at least 40 years after Hijrah (الهجرة). The Prophet (saaw) had a sandy floor (or actually no floor). Omar Ibn ElKhattab (ra) introduced gravel to the mosque's floor, and it wasn't until the era of the Omayyad state that carpets were ...
If a third person comes and joins two who are praying, then the one who is praying behind the imaam should move back, because of the report(required content taken from large hadith) below,
Jaabir(R.A) said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of
Allaah be upon him) stood up to pray, and I came and stood on his
left. He took ...
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
Voluntary prayers done in congregation are of two types, one of which
it is Sunnah to do in congregation, such as the eclipse prayer,
prayers for rain, and qiyaam during Ramadaan (Taraweeh). These are
always done in congregation as is the Sunnah. The second type are not
done in ...
No, you shouldn't usher anybody. This will result in a gap in his row because, which is contradictory to what the prophet said:
Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, "Arrange the rows in order, stand
shoulder to shoulder, close the gaps, be accommodating to your
brothers, and do not leave gaps ...
It is a well-known hadith, narrated through multiple chains. The following is how it was narrated by Abu Hurairah, via Sahih Muslim:
There came to the Apostle of Allah () a blind man and said: Messenger of Allah, I have no one to guide me to the mosque. He, therefore, asked. Allah's Messenger () permission to say prayer in his house. He (tee Holy Prophet)...
Welcome back! Watch a few videos to familiarize yourself with the prayer (such as this one) and with the washing process to purify oneself for prayer.
When you enter the masjid, keep your shoes aside in the racks provided for that purpose and head over to the prayer area.
If there is time before the sermon or before the prayer starts, offer two units of ...
Forgetting only one Sujood (prostration) does not make prayer void. In this case the Imam Should perform two Sajda Sahw after prayer and person behind him can continue the Jamaat prayer properly behind him.
Sajda Sahw should be done after end of prayer. And not inside the prayer.
The duty of Imam of prayer and who is praying behind Imam of prayer are ...
Narrated Ibn Abbas:
(One night) I stayed overnight in the house of my aunt Maimuna, and said to myself, "I will watch the prayer of Allah's Apostle " My aunt placed a cushion for Allah's Apostle and he slept on it in its length-wise direction and (woke-up) rubbing the traces of sleep off his face and then he recited the last ten Verses of Surat-al-Imran ...

Pray Taraweeh and Witr with congregation then go somewhere else and pray more alone. However, after you finish praying then you are not allowed to pray Witr again.
Qais bin Talq bin Ali narrated that :
his father said: I heard Allah's Messenger saying: "There are no two Witr in one night." At-...
According to the Hanafi madh'hab, praying Fard behind a leader is only valid if the Imam is also praying Fard. It is, however, permissible to pray Sunnah or Nafil behind a leader praying Fard.
You can never know whether the person is praying a Fard or Sunnat or Nafil salat, as it is by niyat (intention). Hence touching an already praying person and ...
To make group Dua', some one making dua' and the rest saying Ameen, is ok if done only on occasions. But if it is taken as a constant practice on every such occasions then it becomes a Bid'ah/Innovation. So it is an innovation to do Group Dua' after each and every Fard Salat. The place for Dua' in regards to Salat is on an individual level, the place is ...
There are different opinions as to the number of people needed to perform the Friday prayer, which I shall summarize according to the Mazhabs as follows:
Shafi'i and Hanbali: The number of people needed is 4, excluding the imam.
Maliki: The number of people needed is 12, excluding the imam
Hanafi: The number of people needed is 3, excluding the imam.
You must bear in mind that before starting your salaah, your niyyah was to perform the farz, so discontinuing is not what you should do until absolutely necessary. Secondly, there is no question of being accused of rejecting the jama'ath because at the time of starting the prayer(during niyyah) you were totally unaware of the jama'ath.
As an advice I would ...
According to Saheeh Muslim:
The Prophet (salallahu alayhi wa sallam) said, "When the Iqamah is
called, no prayer should be performed except the obligatory prayer." (Riyad As-Saliheen, Saheeh Muslim)
This hadith talks about a similar situation: someone is praying in jama'ah, already, and you show up. For example, you rush to pray Fajr in the masjid ...
This is answer of your comment :
Yes in some Mosque there is a setup to keep your bag or jacket but in some Mosque there is not on that occasions I keep my bag or jacket beside back wall or side wall (not at the front wall case it hard to get after prayer). and most of Mosque I said prayer there is no place to wipe water of your face and hand so it is okay ...
In the name of Allah
To the best of my knowledge, there is a limited (specified) space between the individuals of Salah-al-Jama'ah (المصلین), it doesn't seem to be accepted in that location as you remarked:
When Jamaah of Masjid is audible from my home, does my Salaah consider
as Jamaah Salaah, if I do it from my home?
Otherwise everyone could say his ...
In that case all you may have to do is:
Pray tahiyat al masjid (salutation of the mosque) once you enter the mosque if you reached it before the congregation prayer starts. It's a nafl of two rak'a.
Note that I'm assuming you are a male, as for female jahr is not allowed at all! Once the congregation has started you should follow the Imam and never be ...
Case number 1 seems fine according to this Hadith
Jabir bin Yazid bin Al-Aswad Al Amir told us that his father said: "I
attended Fajr prayer with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)in Masjid Al
Khaif. When he finished praying, he saw two men at the back of the
people who had not prayed with him. He said: 'Bring them here.' So
they were brought to him, ...
Is there any reason why we don't pray the Sunnah rakaats of prayer in congregation like we pray the Fard rakaats in congregation?
I believe you are asking about the Sunnah Mu'akkadah (oft-repeated Sunnah prayers).
If so, it is because neither the Prophet ﷺ not his companions set a precedent in this matter. They would pray these Sunnah prayers ...
You don't have to be in Jama'h to get the swab of it if you're sick or a woman. It depends mostly based on Intention. Many participate Jamaat but have no sawab because for example they are hypocrite. Also For women the sawab rules are different men and you should first make sure the Hadith you use is equal about both man and woman.
I saw a Hadith for women ...
According to Hanafi Fıqh, cancelling an ibadah deliberately and without an excuse is haram. However, cancelling in order to gain the virtue of jama'ath is compared to demolishing a Masjid in order to renewing and correcting it.
According to "catching the farz" part of the book Ni'met-i İslam, cancelling farz and joining the jama'ath is mustahab if you haven'...
Yes brother this is what Sheikh Shafi'i, Ibn al-Mundhir said. Please check the link below:
Also there is a Hadith about this:
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ،
عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ

I consulted with a knowledgable Muslim brother with sound Aqidah and concluded below:
Its fine for a boy to pray with mother at the condition that the boy is not of age for puberty.
However, the issue neither the brother nor I are clear on how to lead the prayer in your scenario. ...
If you want to pray more after tarawih, you shouldn't pray witr with the congregation.
Actually the witr prayer was never done in congregation by the Prophet. It's an individual prayer.
A man came to the Prophet and asked him how to pray the night prayer. The Prophet replied =
Pray two rakat at a time and then two and then two and so on, and if
No, it is not permissible until there is a veil between them such that men cannot see women and women cannot see men.
It is permissible that men be in the front and women in back of them, but not side-by-side
You should complete the salat with the Imam, and if you missed some Rak'aat, then after the Imam say the Tasleem, stand up and make up the Rak'aat that you have missed. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
إذا أقيمت الصلاة، فلا تأتوها وأنتم تسعون، وأتوها وأنتم تمشون، وعليكم
السكينة، فما أدركتم فصلوا، وما فاتكم فأتموا
When the Iqamah ...
The ma’mumin (those following the Imam in Salat) should inform the Imam, they should do this with reciting zekrs aloud. If Imam doesn't pay attention you should change your intention from Jamaat to individual prayer and do sajdah (prostration) and continue the right Salat.
pay attention Imam can do sajdah sahw after salat and his salat will be right (...
