Have you seen any theory about letters that be similar to letter theory?

Im formulating a theory about meaning of the Quran's letters, I say meaning of every root comes from meaning of its letters for example when we say k-t-b کتب, its meaning comes from its letters meaning (k and t and b have specific meanings and combining them make ktb meaning) I want to know if someone else already have done such works.
