I am a former christian, that converted to islam primarily because of neoplatonic islamic arguments and ontology.

Islamic neoplatonism differs from plotinus' version, for one creation is not identical to the 'one'.

creation is pre-eternal however.

If God is not absolutely simple, then multiple gods are a possibility,or lets say that if it is not true.there can be no gods(since they would all be effects of some ontological composition i.e difference + shared nature).

however a simple diety cannot have temporal knowledge,a emergent will, change, multiple ideas or actions etc

is my conception of God in line with the Qu'ran?

if not why not?
