Assalamu alaikum Brothers and sisters

Last 2/1 months I missed Salat Al-Eid because I was sleeping. My family told me they didn’t wake me up because my dad tested for COVID-19 (alhamdula he tested negative) and we couldn’t go out because my dad might had COVID (Nas'alu Allah al-'Afiyah) and we didn’t get out of the house incase we had it so we don’t spread it. I forgot to pray the two prayers (if we missed Salat Al-Eid) and I’m worried I will be punished because I didn’t pray the 2 prayers in order to make it up.

Can I pray it now or is it too late?

  • Salat al-'I'd is sunnah and can't be made up after that day. And you don't need to worry about that. If it eases your mind make a nafl prayer for the sake of Allah thanking him for example that you are sane and safe.
