Ok so I seen someone online call Islam a misogynistic religion because women are weak and inferior compared to men and they have less freedom and rights and she began to list things which I’d rather go over in another question but how does Islam say we should treat women? Should they be equal to men or should they just work for men. I seen some say that they can just get beat and they have to be obedient for everything they can’t do anything without permission and so on but I want to believe it is different. Are there any Hadith or Quran verses that show that women are supposed to be strong and independent in our religion and something that elevates their status?

  • This is too broad. You should ask a focused question (see How to Ask). – Medi1Saif Sep 26 at 11:28
  • @Medi1Saif I’m not really sure how else to phrase it, are men superior to women? I won’t really get the answers that I want. – Shah786 Sep 26 at 13:32
