Assalamualaikum. Brother. I have sent many questions on your website and others and they haven't been answered. This testifies the pitiful and horrendous state of the islamic scholars of our time. Please please 🙏 answer this question in particular. Why surahs [An-Nisaa 4:140]. [Al An'aam 6:68]. and [Al-Furqan 25:72] apply to watching a kufr film but they don't apply to seeing this kufr film in your imagination!? Isn't the seeing of something in TV screen equal to seeing it in your imagination!? I really don't understand the difference!?

  • Why do you think that they don't apply? – UmH Aug 31 at 14:18
  • Because I asked a question in iacad Dubai and they said they don't apply when it comes to imagining. – khalid muslim Sep 1 at 6:37

there is a huge difference, between imagining and watching.. and you might have not asked it properly in Dubai.. if you are deliberately imagining something haram then it'll be sinful, and if your heart started believing it then it may lead to kufr, now watching a kufr film doesn't fall under unintentional and its a direct sin as you watching by your eye's. and eye's are the first portal among the 7 which connects to heart and nafs. – Ali786 Sep 1 at 12:45

The reason that the passages do not apply to imagination is that they apply to being with other people who lack respect. However, that doesn't mean that it is better if such takes place in in your own imagination; it!s even worse: This means that you are yourself sinning.
