I remember 22 years ago a group of school boys (not me) entered a home near the school and begun stealing oranges from the tree and it was funny.
My question is: If I enjoy or feel pleasure from remembering that event, would that be a major sin?

Before thinking about sin, you've to think about your Iman first. I think you're a lot mature now. And as you were young then, you found pleasure from an adventure, though it was wrong.
So, your Iman wasn't stronger then. Though you didn't sin, you let it happen without any protest.
Now you come to sin. Yes, you sinned. I can't say if it was a major or minor. But you committed because you found pleasure in one's misery. It's more of a moral sin than an Islamic sin.
Our religion doesnt allow to be happy on anyone sufferings. The basic principle teached to us is Allah may forgive his rights but He will not forgive any sufferings we give to humans or any living thing. We have to seek apology from the one we made suffer otherwise we have to pay for it at the judgement day.
Enjoying on the sufferings of others is very low as a human. If in immature age someone does anything like that then we should keep seeking forgiveness from Allah and keep praying for that person who suffers due to us.
"One has mercy on those who are merciful. If you show mercy to those who are on the earth, He Who is in the heaven will show mercy to you".(Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 41, Number 4923-Sahih)
