I have doubt regarding the hadith in the saheeh Bukhari -- "" Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "There are angels guarding the entrances (or roads) of Medina, neither plague nor Ad-Dajjal will be able to enter it." If this is true then why did Plague known as "Black death" enter the city of Mecca along with hajj pilgrims in 1349 A.D. as mentioned in the historical sources ?

The hadith is talking about Madinah, not Makkah. – Crimson Mar 25 at 15:52

As @Crimson said the hadith is about Medina only and so far there's no plague that ever refuted it. – Medi1Saif Mar 25 at 16:07
