I am Hindu. I always wanted to go inside the mosque but my friends and my mother told me that Muslims kill Hindus if they go in Muslim areas. So, is it safe for me to go inside mosque if I'm not a Muslim?

In an area with high communal strife like India-Pakistan region, you should probably avoid it unless you have a Muslim friend to accompany you. In the west it shouldn't be a problem. Islamically there is nothing wrong with you visiting a Mosque, the Prophet hosted delegations in the mosque at Medinah. – UmH May 7 '17 at 15:15

Welcome to Islam.SE! Questions are expected to be specific, on topic, and with some research done prior to asking. Please refer to how to ask a question, and take a tour in the help center. Please provide references to your assumption that Muslims kill Hindus who go into Muslim areas. Have you come across any such incidents yourself? Islamically, there is nothing that stops anyone at large from visiting mosques, provided they keep them clean. – III-AK-III May 7 '17 at 15:28
