I want to know what are the major books for supplications? For Shia Muslims, I know the collection book of mafatih-al-jinan with all the supplications from the prophet and the 12 holy household. There, you can see supplication like Kumayl, Munajat Imam Ali, Munajat Shabaniya and much more...

The question is if the sunni scholors consider these supplications to be authentic and if yes, do the Sunni Muslims recite them in daily life? What are the sources of supplications for Sunni Muslims? I need some examples!

    One of the famous collections of supplications used by many sunni muslims is Hisn Al Muslim Min Athkar Al Kitaab Was Sunnah by Sa'eed Al Qahtani. It has Supplications from Qur'an and Sahih Hadiths.

The difference between the sunni supplications and Shia supplications is the importance of authenticity attached to the supplications, we prefer supplications which were recommended and used by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). I being a former shia have gone through these Shia dua and they are indeed beautiful but its authenticity is doubtful from a scholarly perspective. Fortification of the Muslim (Hisnul Muslim) is perhaps the most popular du'a book currently in print.     First of all, it is better not to copy paste from other websites in to your answer. I would be grateful if you can expand your answer by putting some more extended Sunni duas. I am not looking for duas when you go out of home, or enter a mosque,etc. Although they are good and necessary. As you have read for example Sahifa sajjadiye, Dua kumail, Munajat Shabanieh, as you mentioned in your answer, you know that they are like a complete course for knowing god, self, prophet, etc. Please update your answer.

    Please note that Shia Imams, may allah bless them all, have narrated a lot of Duas from the Prophet (pbuh) like Jushan Kabir, or for example Ziarah Ashura has been descended to the Prophet (pbuh) by Gebreal.

    Do Sunni scholars believe that Dua Kumail or Sahifa Sajjadiyah are not authentic? meaning they have been fabricated by a random person or they are false? Please refer to the opinion of your scholars regarding this issue.
