Is it okay if i wear loose trousers to school with a hijab? I read fatwas and différent ones say its permissable while others dont. Some of them say its haram because it reveals the shape of your leg. Some say its permissible as long as its loose. How can I wear loose trousers without it revealing the shape of my leg when I walk. Sometimes i want to cry because when i try to be good muslim i end up failing. Its so hard sometimes being a young Muslim because when you try and read the fatwas it can make you feel like your not doing enough. I live in America by the way.

  • It's fine as long as it's loose. Present day "fitted" clothes are in reality tight. So, if you understand loose as unfit and baggy, then yes, yes you can wear them and it will be appropriate. – Sayyid Oct 28 '15 at 22:16
  • @Riham, as dear Sayyid remarked, "It's fine as long as it's loose. Present day "fitted" clothes are in reality tight." / Actually it is soooooo strict to say loose is haram, and we ought not to make the religious to hard on ourselves by... We can ask the ones who say haram about its reason! but it won't be haram if it has a bad shape. – اللهم صل علی محمد و آل محمد Oct 29 '15 at 7:33

  • By your own question, this is a matter in which there is a clear difference of opinion. With no attempt to focus your question, you're simply going to attract the same arguments here that you've already read elsewhere, which will get you no further to finding an actual answer. I would strongly suggest you check out the advice in our help centre on "How do I write a good question?" to understand the sorts of questions that work here and how to better focus your post. – goldPseudo Nov 4 '15 at 23:04

loose trouser may be okay, I am not sure about it. But Jeans is not okay for women to wear in public because Jeans pantaloons aren't made loose. They are very tight-fitted.

After reading your full post, I think should say that Allaah tests us whether we're worthy of Jannah. So, Sometimes, it will be like tough situation but I recommend you rely on Allaah for help and thus, you will be helped in trials and tribulations.

And trials and tribulations come from Allaah.

Surat-al Baqarah, Ayat:55

Allaah certainly know his slaves aren't perfect but repentance is a thing that surely please our Lord.

So, always repent for what you lack regarding the Islmaic Rulings.

With the passage of time, you might gain courage and be able to follow every portions of Islamic rulings with relative ease.

May Allaah makes things easier for you.

And Allah knows best.
