Different times and places have their own restrictions and encumbrances. As a mercy, Allah has built in flexibility. As a example, how can Muslims at polar regions perform salah and saum when sunset or sunrise are extreme and sometimes non-existant. How do muslim astronauts perform salah in orbit, or on other planets or moon? Without built in flexibility, you can see how it wouldn't work for all time and place. | |
