Sep 21, 2016 at 14:55 comment added Kilise @cerberus23 Wouldn't proving - with a hadith that is written down - that a hadith may not be written down, be a very invalid evidence? I mean it's a loop that never stops. "X said X cannot speak". Clearly the hadith isn't meaning that you shouldn't literally write down a hadith... I think medi1saif posted a good answer.

Sep 21, 2016 at 14:06 comment added user19208 "Some scholars tried to explain that it was forbidden to write down the hadiths while the Qu'ran wasn't finished, but I find that excuse weak " That's what the answer you are refering to says.

Sep 21, 2016 at 13:59 comment added Sassir The meaning of this hadith is explained in the answer by Abu Sa'id al-Kudri himself?
Sep 21, 2016 at 13:57 comment added user19208 Someone voted to close this question. At least provide me with the Explanation of the above hadiths before closing it. Some like @Medi1Saif bringing other contradicting hadith to prove the point of the "contradicting hadith" and not the hadith I stated.

Sep 21, 2016 at 11:49 comment added user19208 Not it's not. The upvoted answers provide no tangible justification. nor did the question provide any hadiths to seek tafseer of. Not to mention that every link in that question is now dead.
