I'm really confused about a hadith

نَّمَاإِنَّمَا الأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِبِالنِّيَّةِ

which means

Actions are (only) dependent upon their intentions.

Does it mean if we have a clean intention, we can do anything, even if it's a sin?
