May 26, 2020 at 6:18 comment added Jamila AFAIK scholars say it is sunnah to raise your hands during the du'a after the khutbah of jumu*ah only for the audience. Do you have any evidence for thr prophet () raising hands while he is making du'a in this occasion?

" is there any hadith that states he didn't raise hands after obligatory prayers ? just we cannot imagine he didn't without any report. Also, in the end you said raising hands in prayer is ok outside salaah. Prayer after salaah is definitly outside salaah, without any command prohibiting this, I think there is no point in stating this as bid'ah
