We hear it very commonly that according to Islam, it is necessary for males to keep your pants (or whatever you are wearing on your lower body) above your ankles. i.e., it should not be hanging below your ankles. Is their any authentic Hadithhadith that confirms it or is it more of a tradition thing?
Further, is there any different ruling regarding this during Salatsalat?
