Many people have told me not to turn your back to the quran. They either tell me to sit in some other position or get up from there. The reason they is to respect the Quran. Well Well I don't think turning your back to anything is disrespect.
Also many people have told me that when ever the Quran is being read in a room never sit higher than the person reading the Quran as you would be higher than the Quran. Again here the reason is respect.
What is the actual reason for this? areAre there any hadiths or quranicQuranic verses supporting this?
