Islam Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for Muslims, experts in Islam, and those interested in learning more about Islam. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I think religion is a personal choice and every free human should be allowed to choose his/her religion on her/his own choice not by force because when you choose something which you do not like it and have not chosen it, surely you cannot be a good follower for that religion. Now, my question:

Does Islam allow a Muslim by birth changes her/his religion?

Short answer, not it does not allow changing religion even if you are birth Muslim. – The Truth Seaker Feb 23 at 0:05

Can a person be born Muslim? In Islamic belief, you are a Muslim when you submit to God and believe in Islam. If you submit to God and believe in Islam, then you cannot leave Islam. If you were born in a Muslim family, but you do not submit to God nor do you believe in Islam, then you are not a Muslim.
