Are these words Kufr?
I am gonna live my life.
I am gonna live my life.
No matter what, we party tonight:
everything gonna be alright.

I think your question here is, this song talks about partying and clearly disobeying Allah Almighy and it further says, everything is going to be okay if no one can say anything to him, even Allah. Is it Kufr from Muslim point of view? From Islamic point of view, it is clearly against the Islamic principle of life. One should always live his/her life close to the principle of Islam. In this song the singer does not seem to care if God exists and that weather anyone can harm him. By strict Islamic principle, such material should not be listened too. We know that listening to music is not allowed, listening to such material that in a way challenges God is even more condonable. So by Islamic principles such material should be avoided at all cost esp that it creates fear in you that it might be wrong to listen too. May be you can invest your energy in something better, possibly God has better things for you. As far the question is it Kufr or not? It is not easy to label it esp in modern age. May be in old age, it would be easy to lable is as kufr. But I think it is inappropriate for a Muslim to listen to it, esp if they are in doubt. As I mention, may be there is something much better for you. If you are worried about it that shows your obedience to Allah Almighty and I think you should know, you are not doing any kufr. |
