Quran was revealed in aprrox 22 and a half years. Does anyone have the exact total time for this with a authentic source?

When were the first and last verse revealed in respect to Hijrat or Prophet's age ?

what you mean by timeline? you mean the time for each individual verse? some were in night some in day. some mountain some in city. the only one was with prophet always and know it exact was Imam Ali a.s. but what is want is not completely recorded in history. – Ahmadi Nov 3 '12 at 16:56

@mtk This still doesn't provide a rationale for spending time to research this subject. You already state that it took 22-23 years. Why would you spend time or effort to make this estimate more accurate? You could spend your time (and potential answerers' time) on something more useful. – Hosam Aly Jan 24 at 15:59
