I know that the music is forbidden in Islam. (Referring to this Question - Music in Islam), So what about Beat-Boxing?

I mean in general is the musical instrument not allowed or the sound?

Do you mean music?, see the link. – MhdAljobory Jul 1 '12 at 20:05
There's no instrument here except your vocal chords and mouth (or hands).. can be considered a subset of singing/humming a 'beat'? – Power-Inside Jul 2 '12 at 11:19
Might be categorized under singing. I think I've seen percussions like drums allowed throughout a few points in history and modern 'islamic music', and beat-boxing matches percussion more closely than other musical instruments. – Muz Aug 7 '12 at 1:38

I found the following fatwa which seems to answer this question:

Praise be to Allaah.

We put this question to Shaykh ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Jibreen (may Allaah preserve him) who answered as follows:

In our opinion it is haraam because it sounds like, and could be taking the place of, musical instruments, which are forbidden and which distract people from remembering Allaah. So whatever takes their place is also haraam. And Allaah knows best.
